More Signs of Spring

Husband mulching beds and trimming up my currant and gooseberry bushes.

My rhubarb is sprouting up. This is the first time I have grown rhubarb and I'm looking forward to playing around with some new recipes.

The seagulls are back. I don't know where they go in the winter. Florida?

Yellow flowers in all the stores.

Daffodils are in my opinion the most cheerful of blooms.

I hope the Easter Bunny brings me one of these eggs.

  1. Rhubarb! I froze up so much from an old homestead about ten miles from Canada, this past year. I used it for sauces on ice cream! Rhubarb cake with apples, Rhubarb berry pies, Rhubarb crepes, yummy. And Gooseberries, o your bush is doing splendidly I ve never had them get that big, i do so love them also. Daffodils i once planted two hundred on a hillside beneathe four apple trees. So bright after days upon days of grey in winter,
